n the architecture of nature, nothing grows alone. Beneath every field lies a network of roots and branches, binding earth to seed, tree to soil, leaf to light. Ancient botanists understood this lattice as the quiet structure of life; the unseen pattern allowing one form to nourish another. They called it Nectere, to “to bind, to connect, to weave into one.”
Folium’s Nectere Collection draws its name from this lineage of connection. Each ring begins as a sculptural interpretation of a stem in motion, not the smooth ideal of a perfect circle, but the living curvature of growth itself. The band twists, like a branch shaped by wind, cradling diamonds like a stem offering blooms to the sun.
Seen in profile, Nectere reveals small undulations…subtle bends, soft edges, the marks of a jeweler’s hand working in dialogue with natural form. Diamonds appear like dew, catching light as the ring turns. Their placement echoes the rhythmic spacing of buds along a vine. The silhouette is organic but intentional, a study in balance between wildness and refinement. Nectere honors the belief that connection is both structure and story. The bindings we carry are what allow us to stand. To wear Nectere is to carry a reminder that every bond is a living thing. It is a collection for those who believe that beauty emerges where truth is shaped by connection.

Frequently asked questions
Folium works exclusively with precious metals, specifically 18k yellow and white gold, as well as platinum, and carefully selected gemstones. Materials are chosen for their beauty, durability, and longevity, designed to age with grace over decades, not seasons.
Custom work is a pillar of Folium. We welcome personal symbols, engravings, and bespoke adaptations of our designs. Custom commissions are handled on a limited basis to ensure thoughtful collaboration and craftsmanship. Contact directly to discuss your vision.
Because each piece is made by hand, production times vary. In-stock designs typically ship within 2 weeks, and wholesale store orders in 4-6 weeks. Custom and engraved pieces require additional time, usually around 8-12 weeks. We believe patience is part of the value of the object.
Folium ships to the USA and Canada. Shipping times and duties vary by destination and are the responsibility of the recipient. All shipments are securely packaged and fully insured.
Folium jewelry is made to be worn, but we recommend removing pieces during heavy activity or chemical exposure. Over time, precious metals can develop a natural patina; many collectors consider this part of the piece’s story.
Due to the handcrafted and often personalized nature of our work, most pieces are final sale. If you have concerns about fit or details, we encourage reaching out before placing your order and we’re happy to guide you.
