Myles Ryan is an award-winning designer, master goldsmith, and CEO of Folium, a fine jewelry house rooted in symbolic storytelling and exceptional craftsmanship. Working from Northern California, he creates sculptural, hand engraved jewels that unite ancient techniques with a refined contemporary aesthetic… heirlooms made to empower and endure.

Introduced to the bench by his godmother, Myles discovered early the poetry of metal in the hand. His training spans Eurythmy and the art of repoussé in Switzerland, an apprenticeship with master goldsmith Zoltan David, and formal studies at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), where he became a certified gemologist and jeweler. Experience at an atelier in Oakland, designing on demand and sourcing rare stones, further honed his technical precision and eye for detail.

Today, through Folium, Myles marries centuries-old engraving and sculptural methods with a refined, understated elegance. Each piece is conceived as a talisman, infused with wearable strength, symbolism and a sense of personal legacy, honoring both heritage and the individuality of the wearer.
